Grounding Notes & Terms

Last updated: September 30, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of fallowfloret.com and the support services offered by Fallow + Floret, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By booking services, joining a membership, or using our website, you agree to these Terms. These terms govern the services we provide and how we work together. Payment, cancellation, refund, and hardship arrangements are detailed below, under Payments, and how we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. All three form one agreement between you and Fallow + Floret, LLC.

Services and scope

Fallow + Floret provides non-clinical support for people living with chronic illness, in the spirit of traditional doula care: emotional support, practical guidance, advocacy accompaniment, help navigating daily life with illness, and a steady, informed presence alongside — never in place of — your medical care.

We are not medical providers. We are not physicians, nurses, therapists, counselors, social workers, or emergency responders. Our services do not include medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication guidance, mental-health treatment, or crisis intervention. We will never interpret test results, advise you on treatment decisions, or coordinate clinical care. Nothing on this website, in our communications, or in our sessions constitutes medical advice.

Living with chronic illness means you already manage a complex relationship with the healthcare system. Our role is to support you, the person — your questions, your routines, your energy, your plans — while your qualified healthcare providers manage your care.  In a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

If we believe a client’s needs fall outside our scope — including a medical or mental-health crisis — we will say so clearly and help you connect with appropriate professional care. We may decline or discontinue services when doing so is in your best interest.

Our services are available to adults aged 18 and over only.

Confidentiality

Everything you share with us in the course of our work stays confidential, within the limits described in our Privacy Policy and applicable law. We treat information about your health, routines, and personal life with strict discretion regardless of its clinical relevance. Learn more about the technical safeguards we use — including encrypted email and secure teleconferencing — in our Privacy Policy.

There are narrow exceptions where confidentiality must yield: if we are legally required to disclose information, or if we believe someone faces imminent risk of serious harm. We will tell you if such a situation arises, whenever we safely can.

Booking and scheduling

Appointments are scheduled through our online booking system (Acuity Scheduling). When you book, you agree to that platform’s terms as well as ours.

Individual sessions. If you need to cancel or reschedule an individual session, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible. Sessions cancelled before the 24-hour mark may be rescheduled at no charge. As noted in our payment policy, cancellations caused by illness, flare-ups, hospitalization, or medical emergencies are never charged as a fee — just tell us what happened when you can, and we’ll reschedule or apply the session later. If we cancel on our end, you choose a reschedule or a full refund of that session.

Group sessions and classes. Group offerings run on a shared schedule, so individual rescheduling isn’t available — a spot in one group session can’t simply be moved to another time. If you can’t attend a group session you’ve booked, you’re welcome to send someone in your place. As always, illness- and emergency-related absences are treated with flexibility: contact us and we’ll work something out.

Memberships. Coming soon.

Payments

Service fees are due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Accepted payment methods are handled through our scheduling platform. Prices for current services are shown on our Services page. We reserve the right to change prices for future bookings; confirmed bookings are honored at their booked rate.

Reduced-rate, deferred, or complimentary arrangements may be available as described in our payment policy’s hardship accommodation section; unless expressly stated in writing, all other terms apply unchanged.

Refunds: A refund may be requested within 3 days of purchase if no services have been used and the request meets the parameters of the 48-hour cancellation policy. If Fallow + Floret, LLC is unable to provide the services purchased, we will work with you to reschedule or provide an appropriate credit or refund. In exceptional circumstances, we may consider a partial refund or credit on a case-by-case basis.

Nothing in this policy limits any refund rights required by applicable law.

Payment policy

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, our payment processor, via our scheduling platform Acuity Scheduling. Payments are collected in USD; your bank or card provider may apply its own conversion fees for international transactions. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles all payment data under its own security standards.

If you anticipate difficulty making a scheduled payment, please contact us as soon as possible at info@fallowfloret.com. We will do our best to discuss available options before the payment becomes overdue. Any alternative arrangement must be confirmed in writing by Fallow + Floret, LLC.

Cancellations and rescheduling

We understand that unexpected events, illness, family responsibilities, and emergencies can happen. If you need to change your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible. (These rules apply to individual sessions — group sessions and classes follow the cancellation terms.)

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with the required notice may be moved to another available time at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and missed appointments may be charged in full or deducted from your package, because that time was reserved specifically for you.

However — this is a chronic illness practice, and we mean it. Cancellations caused by illness, flare-ups, hospitalization, or medical emergencies will not be charged as a fee. Simply let us know what happened when you're able, and we'll reschedule the session or apply it later. No proof, no penalty, no awkwardness.

If we cancel a session on our end, you may choose a rescheduled session at no charge or a full refund of that session.

Refunds

We want you to feel comfortable making an informed decision before purchasing our services. Please review the service details and ask any questions before payment.

Because your time is reserved in advance, completed sessions and late-canceled or missed appointments are generally nonrefundable, except as described for illness and emergencies above. Unused services may be refundable only as described below:

· A refund may be requested within 3 days of purchase if no services have been used and the request meets the parameters of the 24-hour cancellation policy.

· If Fallow + Floret, LLC is unable to provide the services purchased, we will work with you to reschedule or provide an appropriate credit or refund.

· In exceptional circumstances, we may consider a partial refund or credit on a case-by-case basis.

· Nothing in this policy limits any refund rights required by applicable law.

Refunds are issued via Stripe back to the original card.

Packages and payment plans

A package is designed to provide continuity and support over a defined period. When you purchase a package or select an installment plan, you are committing to the full package or program unless the written agreement states otherwise.

We understand that life circumstances may change. If continuing becomes difficult, please contact us promptly. We may be able to discuss options such as adjusting the schedule, pausing the program, or applying unused services as a credit. Any approved change must be confirmed in writing.

Unused package sessions expire 12 months after purchase. At your request, unused sessions may be refunded pro rata, minus completed sessions at the single-session rate.

Hardship accommodations

Chronic illness is expensive, and support shouldn't be a luxury. If paying our standard rates is a barrier, you're invited — without embarrassment or interrogation — to request a hardship accommodation such as:

· a reduced-rate session or package, offered as space allows;

· a payment plan with smaller installments over a longer period;

· a pause on a package while you regroup, with your remaining sessions waiting for you;

· in some circumstances, a complimentary session when funds are tight this month.

How it works: contact us at info@fallowfloret.com (or mark the option on your booking form). Tell us briefly what would help — you don't need to document your finances or justify your circumstances. We set aside a limited number of reduced-rate and complimentary spots to keep this sustainable; when they're full, we'll be honest about that and add you to a waitlist or suggest other options. Every accommodation is confirmed in writing by Fallow + Floret, LLC, applies only to what it states, and doesn't change any other term of our policies.

Hardship status never affects the quality of your support, the confidentiality of your information, or your right to end services — and asking is never held against you.

Failed or overdue payments

We understand that a payment may occasionally fail because of an expired card, banking issue, or other temporary problem. We will normally notify you and provide 3 days to update your payment information or resolve the balance.

While an account remains overdue, upcoming sessions and program access may be paused. Services may resume once the overdue amount has been paid or another written arrangement has been approved.

If you believe a charge is in error, please contact us at info@fallowfloret.com before disputing it with your bank — we resolve most issues quickly.

If an overdue balance remains unpaid after reasonable notice, Fallow + Floret, LLC may charge a late fee where legally permitted, cancel future services, or pursue other lawful remedies. The client remains responsible for charges for services already provided and for any payment commitments agreed to at enrollment.

Ending services

Either you or Fallow + Floret, LLC may end the services relationship by providing 2 days' written notice, subject to any package or payment-plan terms.

If you decide our services are no longer the right fit, we encourage you to let us know. We will communicate respectfully and, when appropriate, help clarify any remaining sessions, credits, or payment obligations.

Fallow + Floret, LLC may end services immediately in cases involving nonpayment, threats, harassment, discriminatory conduct, or other behavior that makes continued services inappropriate or unsafe.

Our goal is to maintain a clear and respectful arrangement that supports both you and this practice. If an unusual circumstance arises, please reach out as early as possible. We will listen and consider reasonable options while applying this policy consistently and in accordance with applicable law.

Group support

Community standards. Group spaces work because everyone protects everyone. Members agree not to share another member’s personal information, stories, or health details outside the group; not to give medical advice to other members; and to treat fellow members with respect. Membership grants no licensed medical or mental-health service.

Website use and content

All content on fallowfloret.com is for general informational purposes only and is not medical, legal, or financial advice. Content may not be reproduced commercially without permission. We are not liable for how you interpret or act on website content — always bring questions about your health to your providers.

You agree not to misuse our website, contact forms, or community spaces — including harassment, scraping, or attempting to gain unauthorized access.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fallow + Floret, LLC is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These services are a complement to medical care — they are not a substitute for it — and reliance on our services in place of qualified medical care is outside their intended and agreed use.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its revision date. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
